Golden Pass Tour

1st day:
Arrival in lucerne by train 1st class from the Swiss border or any Swiss airport. overnight in lucerne.

2nd day:
Full day at leisure. we suggest an excursion by boat and cogwheel train to Mount pilatus, one mountain – 360° Switzerland. overnight in lucerne.

3rd day:
From lucerne over the brünig pass to interlaken by the luzern-interlaken Ex- press. on your journey you will pass 3 small lakes before reaching lake brienz with its very distinctive colour due to its glacial waters. overnight in interlaken.

4th day:
Full day at leisure. we suggest an excursion to the Jungfraujoch the highest train station in Europe (Top of Europe) or a boat trip on lake brienz. overnight in interlaken.

5th day:
Trip by train to Zweisimmen. Change to the Goldenpass panoramic train (or optional Goldenpass Classic) for the rest of the days memorable trip to Montreux. you find yourself among alpine forests, bubbling mountain springs and picturesque mountain villages. overnight in Montreux.

6th day:
Return to Swiss border or airport or con- tinue your stay in Switzerland at your own request.

A coffee and a croissant will be served on board the Chocolate Train. The Maison Cailler-Nestlé chocolate factory awaits you. Trough a didactic itinerary, you will learn everything about the history of Swiss chocolate making tradition followed by a chocolate tasting. afterwards a bus takes you to the village of Gruyères for some lei- sure time. you might go for lunch and enjoy the tasty local cheese fondue or visit the Gruyères castle. later that afternoon the bus takes you to la Maison du Gruyère for a visit of the demonstration cheese factory followed by the return travel to Montreux with the Chocolate Train.
