Mt. Titlis

 

Mt. Titlis is the highest glacier excursion destination and biggest ski and snowboard paradise in Central Switzerland. Mt.Titlis and its glacier park are accessible by revolving Rotair cableway and Ice Flyer respectively. Located at an altitude of 3020 metres above sea level, visitors are treated to a fabulous view of the central Alps.  The Titlis Glacier Park and the "Ice Flyer" chairlift are a paradise for visitors  looking for gliding fun. Mt. Titlis also offers a glacier grotto in eternal ice and Europe’s highest suspension bridge - The Cliff Walk.

Engelberg Village

The high Alpine Valley of Engelberg in Central Switzerland boasts an action-packed summer and winter programme while also offering every opportunity for relaxation.

The village is characterised by the imposing monastery and its church. There are 30 monks living and working here today. Back in 1120, the founders of the Benedictine monastery called the place "The Mountain of Angels". It is a popular excursion destination for people travelling from all over the world. The journey to Engelberg by road or narrow-gauge railway can take less than an hour. It is also accessible by a scenic road through some local villages and Swiss meadows.
