Itinerary

 

Day 1: Paris

In and around Paris

Arrival before 12pm. On the 1st day you will enjoy a walking tour around Paris, see Louvre, Palais Royal, Notre Dame de Paris, explore Latin Quarter, see Pont Neuf, Place de la Concorde, Ile-de-la-Cité. In the evening enjoy the views of Paris from the top of Eiffel Tower.

 

Day 2-4: Beaune

Travel by train to Beaune, wine capital of Burgundy in the Côte d'Or department in eastern France. On the next day enjoy a full day tour of Burgundy and taste different wines, like Premiers crus such as Meursault and Corton Charlemagne Grands crus. Your wine specialist will then take you on guided tours at Clos Vougeot and Nuits Saint Georges.

 

Day 4-6: Nice/Monaco

In and around Nice

Today you travel to Cote d'Azur. Find out why many artists found their inspiration from the Mediterranean landscapes of Nice. You will have a tour to Monaco and enough free time to explore the old town of Nice, beaches and museums and then go on to visit the rest of the Riviera.

 

Day 6-7: Carcassonne

Discover the Château and ramparts of Carcassone, walk along the galleries, the fortified walls and the ramparts, explore the archaeological museum and many other attractions.

 

Day 7-9: Bordeaux

Next head to Bordeaux to become masters of the grape in the red wine capital. Drink the best drops and hear tales of how these fiery reds came to be. Enjoy a wine tour to one of the wineries.

 

Day 9-11: Paris

Travel back to Paris and explore majestic Palace of Versailles and its stunning, world-famous Gardens. You'll be awed by the Royal State Apartments, Hall of Mirrors and learn about the main characters of the French monarchy. Later Enjoy your days at leisure.

 

Day 12: Departure

Proceed to the airport for your onward journey. Tour Conclude!!
